FACE MASKS

COVID FACE MASKS

I began making face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to stay creative and keep sewing during such an uncertain and difficult time. The widespread use of plain surgical masks seemed to reflect the heaviness of the moment, and I wanted to do something that could bring a bit of colour and joy to people's daily lives. I sourced the brightest and most vibrant printed fabrics I could find and began producing cheerful, reusable face masks.

Creating these masks gave me a sense of purpose, it fulfilled my creative drive, helped support me financially, and most importantly, allowed me to contribute to keeping people safe in a small but meaningful way. Below are a small selection of the masks I made.
